Summer @ Phoenix
August 2021 Newsletter

August was another busy month full of events, the open house, and shows. The industry is starting to catch up with inventory, and as it becomes available, items such as barrels and bolt carrier groups come in, we are now able to build more customer’s firearms. The showroom is still open by appointment only for a little while longer as we get caught up. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at Info@phoenixweaponry.com or call, and we will get right back to you.
8/3 – Phoenix Weaponry hosted a machine gun shoot for the society of Mechanical Engineers.
8/7 – 2021 Open House event was a hit. We had a couple of hundred people throughout the day stop by, tour the shop and talk with the vendors that were on-site. Big Thanks to Splat Mat, American Mountain Supply, Team America Tactical, Larimer County Republican Party, Jeff Fisher (Running for Larimer County Sheriff) Long’s Shadow Holster, Juan from Juan Shot Juan Kill media!
8/9 – We had a huge outbound shipping day sending out complete rifles to their new homes, and all the small parts people across the nation ordered. We completed the custom engraving on the new Team America Tactical lower receiver.
Red dot sights being installed on Glock slides are still very popular. One of the services we offer is what’s commonly called the “RMR Cut”. While this is not limited to Trijicon RMR optics, we take whichever brand of optic you want to be installed on your Glock slide, take the measurements from that, and precision machine your slide for that optic. Having a proper snug fit reduces the stress of repeated recoil on the small mounting screws. Check out the video of this process here: https://youtu.be/Ow05klw3his
8/12 & 13 – Phoenix Weaponry exhibited with Lone Star Hunts and Sellmark at Hunter’s extravaganza in Fort Worth, Texas.
8/21 & 8/28 – Attended the Friends of the NRA events in Lasalle, Colorado. Phoenix Weaponry was the sponsoring FFL for these events.
8/22 – Several members of Phoenix Weaponry attended the sporting clays event in support of Brave Young Hearts. It was their 6th annual side-by-side sporting clays shoot.
