Phoenix Weaponry NFA Project - 607 Clone
The 607, which also became known as the CAR-15, saw light use in Vietnam with early special operations groups.
The shorter barrel and collapsible stock allowed for better maneuverability in and out of helicopters and tanks. After some success in the field, it matured into the 610 commando/XM177 designation for official military trials. The early version of the M4 we know today.
