The buffer tube castle nut on any AR 15 or AR .308 keeps the buffer tube tight and locked in place against the lower receiver. Machined from high strength steel in house at Phoenix Weaponry and black oxide coated for long life and durability.

This AR buffer tube castle nut is designed to work with standard threads found on most AR buffer tubes. The square cutouts are compatible with most armorer wrenches and castle nut tools meant for building AR 15 or AR308 rifles.
