December @ Phoenix
December 2021 at Phoenix Weaponry - Berthoud Colorado
Rounding out the year, Phoenix Weaponry had a very good December. Starting off with the Merry Miracles sporting clays shoot at Great Guns in Nunn, Colorado which was a toys for tots event. We ended up getting some CZ 61 parts kits, so we did the only thing we knew to do. That's to make some billet receivers for some new full-auto CZ 61 machine guns.
Phoenix Weaponry has acquired a new EDM machine, making 4 EDM machines in total now. This particular model is referred to as a “hole popper”. Several areas where this will increase our capabilities such as revolver barrel porting and decrease the amount of time it takes to make integrally suppressed firearms.
We decided to hold a company Christmas party at Unser racing Denver where everyone got to try for the best lap time. Don’t forget to check out our Christmas video on Facebook!
For the last two months, we have been full steam ahead preparing for the SHOT Show in Las Vegas at the end of January. It’s the world’s largest firearms trade show where people from around the world come to attend. We look forward to meeting new dealers, picking up distributors, and showing off new products. If you are out there, we will be in booth 40450.
Rocky Mountain Tactical Coatings, the coating service in Phoenix Weaponry, has acquired some new patterns including grasslands and scorched earth.
Be sure to like and follow our new Team page on Instagram @Team_Phoenix_Weaponry is where all of our sponsored shooters will be posting updates from matches and shooting events.
Towards the end of the month, we took some time and went duck hunting in Idaho with some family members. December wouldn’t be complete without getting stranded in a winter storm on I-80 in Wyoming trying to get home in time for Christmas. We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We will see you all in 2022 with more new products.
